About Us

Located in Mooresville, NC, BAYAA (Brawley Area Youth Athletic Association), was founded in 2004 as a non-profit recreation football and cheerleading organization focused within the Lake District area of Mooresville. BAYAA is the Youth Recreation Football & Cheer Program for Lake Norman Schools and surrounding Private and/or Charter Schools.

BAYAA is a charter member of the Greater Metro Youth Athletic Association (founded in 2023). GMYAA is the governing body for recreational youth football in Iredell County. Learn more about this community-based member organization here.
