The mission of Brawley Area Youth Athletic Association (BAYAA) is to serve the children of our community.  BAYAA believes in the passion, intensity, teamwork, confidence and sense of community the game of football brings to those who play, coach and love it.

Through our program, we want to offer the most exciting, entertaining experience that we can dream up for our athletes. Create the best atmosphere to teach our athletes the important life lessons of success and defeat.  This is our foundation for success, as we experience failures and successful endeavors. We will continue to learn, develop and grow as individuals and as a community as we strive to provide the premier football experience in Iredell County to our young athletes, regardless of their background or means, and support the development of our youth athletes to help bring Championship Play to our surrounding High Schools.

To accomplish this mission, our program works to instill a Championship Mentality into all our young athletes. A championship mentality is a mindset that involves having an unshakeable belief in oneself, the ability to bounce back from setbacks, and a relentless drive to improve. We understand that it's relatively effortless to settle for average or just "okay" quality in your work, skills, or life. At BAYAA, we choose the more difficult path to excellence. Our edge comes from how we think, prepare, and respond. It’s about having an unwavering belief in your ability to achieve goals, coupled with a relentless work ethic and a resilience that bounces back stronger from failures and setbacks. However, this isn't about winning every time. The championship mindset is about pushing the limits, testing boundaries, and constantly striving for personal bests. Champions understand that failure isn't the opposite of success. It's part of the journey. They embrace it as an opportunity to learn, grow, and improve and carry that mindset throughout the rest of their lives.
