Fall Cheerleading:

We are excited to once again offer Cheerleading at BAYAA for the Fall 2024 season!!!

Located in Mooresville, NC, BAYAA (Brawley Area Youth Athletic Association), is a Community driven Charitable Non-profit recreation organization focused within the Iredell Statesville Schools.  BAYAA is the Youth Recreation League for Lake Norman Schools and surrounding Private and/or Charter Schools.  BAYAA was created to assist and get involved in the community with multiple community service projects, develop the athletes of our community and assist those under privileged, less fortunate.

Fall Registration Details:

Registration for Fall 2024 is open May 1st now through June 30th
(Note: Registration after 6/15 are subject to a $25 late fee or unavailability)

Our Fall season typically runs from Labor Day through Thanksgiving depending on playoffs (GMYAA Championships). Practices are typically held 1-2 times per week during the school year with times varying based on coaches decision/availability. Games are played on Saturdays with locations changing based on the host program (LNHS, MHS, SIHS, etc.). Registration fee is $75. There is an additional uniform fee of $100.  The uniform fee covers the uniform, skirt, long-sleeve undershirt, bloomers, pom-poms, bow, socks, and a t-shirt. Uniform fittings for the 2024 season will likely be early July alongside the start of football conditioning. Attending the uniform fitting is required so that all we can ensure all uniform fit properly. 

Divisions:

• Rookie = 1st-2nd Grade 
• Junior Varsity (JV) = 3rd-4th Grade
• Varsity = 5th-6th Grade

Cutoff date for Divisions is August 1st. Cheer participants must be 6yo on Aug 1st. Varsity participants cannot turn 13yo before Aug 1st.
